Bio/CV: 

Daniella Lake (she/her) is a senior undergraduate Media Studies major. She has an interest in media, storytelling, and education. For the past several years, she has produced journalistic work through her podcast, Life Told By a Stranger, writing for The Daily Californian, hosting a radio show with KALX 90.7 FM, and more. She also works at the Ethnic Studies Changemaker Podcast Studio on campus as a podcast engineer. After graduation, she plans to go to graduate school for journalism.

Research interests: 

Daniella has been a research apprentice for BLAC since it's founding in Fall 2021. She has conducted archival research and has led the content creation team in various efforts such as launching BLAC’s Instagram account in Fall 2022. She co-developed a Self-Guided Black history audio tour of the UC Berkeley campus with Gia White, a steering committee member for BLAC, which was released in Fall 2023.
