Bio/CV:
Kevin Steward (he/him) is a 2nd year law student with an emphasis on reforming the criminal “justice” system. His interest in the BLAC initiative stems from his belief in education as a vehicle for black social mobility and social change. By working to uplift those who have utilized said vehicle to improve their long term life outcomes for black folx, he hopes that will support contemporary lives as well. This upcoming summer, Kevin is looking to work on post-conviction advocacy in the deep south.
Research interests:
As a graduate student researcher, Kevin helps structuring and supporting the undergraduate researchers in their pursuits within the initiative and outside.
