Bio/CV: 

Amari Turner (She/her) is a graduate of UC Berkeley pursuing a graduate certificate in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. She is primarily interested in environmental policy, specifically how climate change and other environmental issues disproportionately affect marginalized communities. While balancing her studies with student athletics (she is a pole vaulter on the track and field team who currently holds the school record at Cal), she also finds interest in conducting research on a variety of other topics. She is currently applying to law school to continue pursuing passions closely related to environmental justice and climate policy. 

As an undergraduate research apprentice, she has conducted archival research as part of the research team and will continue searching for new information on Black life at Cal from the multitude of archives the University has to offer. This year, she is focused on digitizing various archives within the Ethnic Studies Library pertaining to African-American Student Development.
